Welcome to Ride Pleasant Streets - 2022! • Date: Sunday, Jan. 16 • Time: 2:00 PM • Place: Community Happens Here • Route: Ride Pleasant Streets #07 - Bechtold Park! • Distance: 11.5 miles • Features: Beginner-friendly; flat to rolling; low stress streets + bike lane This is a cozy, close-to-home route that takes us into Kennedy Heights, Silverton, Deer Park, Sycamore Township, and Amberley... along with our own beautiful Pleasant Ridge. Along the way we will roll past Stoll Lane Park, cruise around the perimeter of Ralph Ficke Memorial Park, and enjoy a sweep through beautiful Bechtold Park! This 11.5 mile route is very beginner-friendly. While on Montgomery Road, we will be in the bike lane the majority of the time. For the remainder of the route, >95% is on very low-traffic streets. The terrain throughout is flat to rolling. There are ZERO major climbs! How often can we say that for a ride that starts in The Ridge, eh?
