Tweed rides showcase the elegant history of bicycle ridership with participants dressing up in nineteenth century style—a rolling period piece! Possible fashions include bow ties, newsboy caps, tweed jackets, knickers and kneesocks, wool skirts, sweater vests, handlebar mustaches, elbow patches, anything argyle, plenty of plaid, etc. Check out your local thrift shop for options! Vintage bikes and period-correct parts are encouraged and admired, but not required to participate. In the event of wet weather waxed canvas and Wellies would be welcome. 🦆 We'll ride rain or shine!
