On With Jon! - Memorial Ride for Jonathan Hussing

On April 25th, 2024, Jonathon was killed while riding his bike in a Covington crosswalk with the right of way. Together, let’s ride to remember Jonathon, and send the vital message that our streets must be SAFE, because streets are for PEOPLE. EVERYONE is welcome!! On with Jon! Meet @ 5:30 Parking lot of Roebling Point Books & Coffee - Covington Bike repairs, safety talk & reflection The Red Bike station will be fully stocked Ride @ 6:00 Ride through The Cov Slow paced route for everyone, a tour of Jonathon’s spaces & places Gathering @ 7:00 (bike riders will arrive between 7-7:30pm) Randolph Park / Licking River Greenway Trailhead shelter Community get together to celebrate Jonathon, show support for all those who loved him, and advocate for safer streets Red Bike users and folks wishing to depart early will have options for an escorted return to Roebling Point.
