Juneteenth Slow Roll - Thirsty Third Thursday Rides @ Mellotone!

gather at 5:30pm roll out at 6 back before 8 meet at and return to Mellotone Beer Project 1429 Race Street, Over-the-Rhine food and NA beverages available (and beer!) RedBike station at 14th and Elm ample parking under Washington Park served by bus and streetcar ample post-ride bike parking inside Mellotone ample seating as well! all ages all abilities all bodies all bikes 10-12 mile route (TBD) 8-10 mph (“party pace”) A tour of sites important to the experiences of Black Americans in Cincinnati, with an emphasis on environmental racism and institutionalized discrimination.  Re-declaring independence for marginalized groups! Heather Churchman from the board of the Cincinnati Preservation Association and the internet/social media phenomenon “Covington Uncovered” will assist in identifying sites and presenting interpretive information. OTR, CBD, West End, potentially Queensgate, and as close to the historic sites of Kenyon-Barr as the bad infrastructure permits.
