Safer Streets Now!

11:30PM, Tuesday March 1st - Add to Calendar
Hirsch Recreation Center 3634 Reading Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45229, United States
Pedestrian safety has been a focal point of public concern for Cincinnati City Council to address after undergoing a year in which 305 pedestrians were struck in vehicular incidents and seven were fatally injured. Councilman Mark Jeffreys is gathering national experts to host the first-ever “Safer Streets Now” Pedestrian Safety Forum to engage local citizens in a discussion on best practices to resolve pedestrian safety in Cincinnati. Every neighborhood deserves safe, walkable streets. The time is NOW to walk what we talk when discussing pedestrian safety.
