Grab your wheels and kick off Pride Month JUNE 3rd at the first annual Queers with Gears bike ride! Queers with Gears is a ride for action to recognize, empower, and celebrate the Queer+ community and our allies in Northern Kentucky & the Queen City. All are welcome and it is FREE to join! All donations and a portion of proceeds will go to support Cincinnati Black Pride & the NKY Pride Center. SIGN UP HERE!!!! Registration is FREE & required. Each rider must register separately. More details below: Pre-register and get $5 off the rad limited edition Queers with Gears shirt designed by Kara Henry. When? Friday, June 3rd at 5:30pm Who? All bodies, all bikes. Why? To recognize, empower, and celebrate the Queer+ community & our allies. Proceeds from the ride will go to the Cincinnati Black Pride and the NKY Pride Center. Where? Meet at Lil’s (308 Greenup St. Covington, KY) at 5:30pm We will be taking it to the streets of Covington, Newport, & Cincy for a 10 mile easy ride. Afterparty is at Lil’s! Music will be bumping, drinks will be pouring, and food will be served. How? * SIGN UP HERE!!!! Each rider must register separately. * Ride to the ride! (Parking is available, but limited) * Don't have a bike? It's cool...The Red Bike stations near Lil's will be fully stocked. * If you haven’t ridden your bike in a while, please try to arrive early for a quick safety check (tire air, etc.). Mechanics from Queen City Bike will be on hand to address minor issues and make sure we're all rolling safely! * Express yourself …Do you, be you, and let everyone know by showing your true colors. All fashion & forms of expression are encouraged. * Show your Pride in style with a Queers with Gears shirt or sticker! (See images at registration). Shirts are $5 off when purchased with ride registration. A portion of proceeds from shirts and stickers will be donated to Cincinnati Black Pride & the NKY Pride Center.
