Ride Pleasant Streets

Join us on Nov. 21, 2021 for a rolling celebration of the incredible public art in our city! We will visit more than 20 ArtWorks murals in this roughly 20 mile ride, along with a handful of other iconic neighborhood installations. Be ready to take photos! Meetup time is 2:00 PM at Community Happens Here in Pleasant Ridge. Start time will be 2:15 PM at the latest, after introductions and brief riding tips. Please note we are starting earlier than usual due to diminished daylight this time of year. Overall this route will be a good match for Advanced Beginner to Intermediate level riders. There are some short stretches on busier roads (Montgomery, Madison, and McMillan). Basic traffic skills are required. The route is mostly rolling, and we will regroup after all climbs and at turns/intersections. The hardest climb will be the return journey up Lester Ave. Along the way, there will be lots of stops to take in all the amazing art! In other great news, Queen City Bike has generously offered to host the routes for Ride Pleasant Streets on their new Tourism Account with Ride with GPS!
