Bike Collection at the Hub!

7:00PM, Friday July 12th - Add to Calendar
Cincinnati Recycling & Reuse Hub; 911 Evans St, Cincinnati, OH 45204
The Cincinnati Reuse & Recycling Hub is hosting a special bike collection in partnership with Queen City Bike for Mobility Together. This program empowers newly arrived refugees with bikes for transportation—while sharing in bike repair skills and community along the way. Do you have a bike gathering dust in your garage or basement? A bike donated to Mobility Together is guaranteed to be ridden, used, loved, and appreciated. We will accept bikes that are old or new; bikes from Walmart, specialty shops, or anything in between; bikes that are big or little; and even bikes that are broken. Two wheels good. Parts and wheels are also accepted. Queen City Bike will refurbish and fix what we can, and any unusable items will be recycled at the Hub. Do you have spare tools that aren't being used? We are also accepting these items! Ownership of tools is enormously important to equip folks to work on their own bikes. Most appreciated are donations of metric wrenches, hex wrenches, chain removers, bottom bracket tools, headset wrenches, and other simple hand tools.
