Go with Glo! - Community Ride for Gloria San Miguel

Go with Glo!! 🌟 Join us for a community ride in memory of, and action for, Gloria San Miguel. To help us with planning and quick check-ins, please PRE-REGISTER HERE 🙌 We will gather at 5:30pm at Roebling Books in Covington. Free bike safety checks will be provided (tire air, chain lube, and other minor fixes), and local advocacy organizations will be there to share resources, showcase other events, and discuss opportunities for involvement in advocacy. We’ll roll out at 6:15pm after a pre-ride talk celebrating Gloria’s life and centering our action. Our ride will finish before 8:00pm at one of Gloria’s favorite local businesses—Wunderbar at Lee and MLK. Everyone is welcome to join us there for the celebration of life that follows. Folks who can’t join the ride can still meet up! Wunderbar is a restaurant and family-friendly, so bring the whole crew! Riders wishing to return to Roebling will be provided a guide and a safe route at shuttle-style intervals. Gloria San Miguel was an amazing friend, community activist, mom and person who was killed while riding her bike on August 20th, 2022. We ride to remember Gloria and to demand safety for all people biking and walking.
