No drop, very supportive, refreshments at Wooden Cask Brewery afterward. Meet at 7th and Orchard in Newport near Reser Bicycle Outfitters. Parking is available at the National Band and Tag lot on Seventh or Wooden Cask Brewery on York. Meet at 6:00pm; roll out at 6:15pm, please arrive a little early. We gather at 9:45 a.m.; share a route overview and safety talk at 10:00 a.m.; and wheels are rolling by 10:05 a.m. Riders from all over the metro area are welcome! These are welcoming rides with an emphasis on group ride etiquette, bike skill development, community building, and neighborhood exploration. The "1st Saturday Short" rides are <15 miles, and the "3rd Saturday Long" rides are generally 15-25 miles. Routes are varied each month. They are designed to take advantage of low-stress streets, bike lanes, and shared-use paths as much as possible. Route details are shared in advance (~2-5 days) so you can decide if the ride will be a good fit for your fitness and experience level. Every Monday is Kids Day at MoBo Bicycle Co-op in Northside! Kids can come learn to fix their bikes and enjoy bike-related programming all year long. Each participant will receive a free used bike and learn how to fix and maintain it! This event is geared towards people aged 5-16.

The Urban Basin Bicycle Club is for those bicyclists interested in riding in the Urban Basin, such as downtown, OTR, Northern Kentucky and the Mill Creek Valley, exploring sights and scenery along the way. 

Some rides are themed (e.g. breweries, art deco etc.) and others are just rambling. Then we will rotate among various bars for a “debrief.” Sound good?

Join The Westwood Civic Association on a slow bicycle ride through Westwood. We will ride 2-4 miles which you can plan to take around 30 minutes. All ages are welcome! Meet at Town Hall at 6:30 pm. This event will take place once a month on the 1st Tuesday.

It's better to ride together. We’ll have people there a lil' early to do a quick safety check and pump up tires should you need. Guided rides will explore historic neighborhoods, landmarks, and lesser-known architectural treasures — all by bike. Whether you’re a preservation enthusiast, a casual cyclist, or someone looking to see the city through a new lens.

For October's ride, we'll visit sites along the Ohio River in celebration of the River Roots Festival. Due to the festival, parking around the waterfront may be limited, and participants are encouraged to bike to the ride if possible. Parking may be available ½ mile away at the International Friendship Park. Overall ride length will be about 6 miles.

These rides are free, open to the public, and designed to be accessible to a range of cycling abilities. So dust off your bike, invite a friend, and join us for a ride that brings Cincinnati’s stories to life — one pedal stroke at a time.

Ride Pleasant Streets - 3rd Saturday Long Edition

Join us on Tuesday, October 20th, for Tri-State Trails’ Meet the Candidates Ride and help show support for better trails and bikeways. We’ve invited everyone running for Cincinnati City Council and for Mayor to ride with us, learn about the city’s bike routes, and meet community members like you. The ride will follow trails, bike lanes, and regular streets. Along the way, we’ll point out what’s working well—and what needs to be better. Before the ride begins, each candidate will introduce themselves and share their ideas for making biking and walking safer and more connected in Cincinnati. We’ll meet at 6:00 PM at the Sawyer Point Red Bike station near the Purple People Bridge. The ride will start at 6:30 PM and will be a short, slow-paced loop around downtown. All riders and all types of wheels are welcome, and volunteers will be on hand to support you and the group. All participants must wear a helmet and sign a waiver before joining the ride.
