**Departure Time: 10:00am**
- Please plan to arrive early so we can all leave in a punctual fashion
- We will meet in front of Community Happens Here
- Ride leaders will be there by 9:45am to answer any questions

**Distance: 22 miles**

**Difficulty:**
- **Advanced Beginner and above**
- All riders should be comfortable with basic bike-handling and traffic skills
- We will regroup as needed throughout the ride

**Terrain:**
This route is mostly rolling, but does include a few longer climbs and descents around +/-4% grade.

*Climbs (steeper than +4% grade):*
- Art Museum Drive (~0.6 mi; max 5% grade)
- Mt. Adams Circle (~0.1 mi; max ~5% grade)
- Eden Park Drive (~0.5 mi; max ~4.5-5% grade)
- Lester Avenue (~1 mi; 4-5% grade). On our way back to Pleasant Ridge.

*Descents (steeper than neg 4% grade):*
- Fulton Ave (~0.2 mi; max neg 5.5% grade). As we bomb down to Eden Park. Yeehah!
- Cut through the park to Mirror Lake (~0.2 mi; max neg 6.5% grade)

**Traffic stress:**
- ~85% of this ride will be on low-traffic streets and multi-use paths

*Higher-stress areas:*
- The busiest area will be riding through the center of Pleasant Ridge (on Montgomery). The multiple traffic lights, the lower traffic volume on weekends, and our presence as a group will all help to reduce the stress in this section.
- We will be there to share traffic tips and help you feel comfortable

**Post-ride:**
- Let's gather at <a href="https://www.ninegiant.com/brewpub" target="_blank">Nine Giant</a> after the ride!
- We should be done with the ride by about 12:30pm.

Ride Pleasant Streets - 3rd Saturday Long Edition

Discover ride led by Ride the Cov.  ——— Dates: 2nd and 4th Saturdays of every month from November to April (yes, we are riding through the winter! 😁) Time/Place: Winter rides happen November, February and March on the 2nd and 4th Saturday. We gather at the Goosegirl fountain at 2pm. Distance: 7-10 Miles (we’ll take it easy on the hills) Time required: About 1.75 Hours Who: You and whoever you invite? It's better to ride together. We’ll have people there a lil' early to do a quick safety check and pump up tires should you need. Other details: - Helmets strongly suggested - We’ll be riding in a group—not experienced in this, no problem. Just follow directions that we’ll share before the ride. - Parking (paid) is available in the MainStrasse Village Parking lot. - Free Parking is available under the Clay Wade Bailey Bridge or in Theatre House’s Parking Lot. The goals of our rides are simple: Get people on bicycles, have fun, be safe and see Covington from two wheels. Every Monday is Kids Day at MoBo Bicycle Co-op in Northside! Kids can come learn to fix their bikes and enjoy bike-related programming all year long. Each participant will receive a free used bike and learn how to fix and maintain it! This event is geared towards people aged 5-16.

Join students, parents, and friends of Pleasant Ridge Montessori for the return of the PRM Bike Bus! This is an incredibly fun and empowering opportunity for your student at PRM to be an active participant in their travel to school. 

Held weekly on Fridays starting on August 21 and up through (and including) November 20. Helmets are required and all are welcome!

Ride Pleasant Streets meets on the 1st & 3rd Saturday of every month at Community Happens Here in Pleasant Ridge. We gather at 1:45 p.m.; share a route overview and safety talk at 2:00 p.m.; and wheels are rolling by 2:05 p.m. Riders from all over the metro area are welcome! 
 
These are welcoming rides with an emphasis on group ride etiquette, bike skill development, community building, and neighborhood exploration. The "1st Saturday Short" rides are <15 miles, and the "3rd Saturday Long" rides are generally 15-25 miles. 
 
Routes are varied each month. They are designed to take advantage of low-stress streets, bike lanes, and shared-use paths as much as possible. Route details are shared in advance (~2-5 days) so you can decide if the ride will be a good fit for your fitness and experience level.

Time: Meet at 5:45 PM / Ride departs at 6:15 PM and finishes by 7:30 PM  
Place: The fall edition will focus on Newport and we'll meet at the Newport entrance of the Purple People Bridge.
