Ride Pleasant Streets meets on the 1st & 3rd Saturday of every month at Community Happens Here in Pleasant Ridge. We gather at 1:45 p.m.; share a route overview and safety talk at 2:00 p.m.; and wheels are rolling by 2:05 p.m. Riders from all over the metro area are welcome! These are welcoming rides with an emphasis on group ride etiquette, bike skill development, community building, and neighborhood exploration. The "1st Saturday Short" rides are <15 miles, and the "3rd Saturday Long" rides are generally 15-25 miles. Routes are varied each month. They are designed to take advantage of low-stress streets, bike lanes, and shared-use paths as much as possible. Route details are shared in advance (~2-5 days) so you can decide if the ride will be a good fit for your fitness and experience level. Ride Pleasant Streets - 1st Saturday Short Edition

Ride host MartyB and super-sweeper Joe Humpert present DisCOVeRIDE—a slow n' steady ride to explore and celebrate Covington and surrounding neighborhoods! ——— Dates: 2nd and 4th Saturdays of every month from November to April (yes, we are riding through the winter! 😁) Time/Place: 2:00pm @ MainStrasse Village at Goose Girl Fountain (Main and 6th Streets) Distance: 7-10 Miles (we’ll take it easy on the hills) Time required: About 1.75 Hours Who: You and whoever you invite? It's better to ride together. We’ll have people there a lil' early to do a quick safety check and pump up tires should you need. Other details: - Helmets strongly suggested - We’ll be riding in a group—not experienced in this, no problem. Just follow directions that we’ll share before the ride. - Parking (paid) is available in the MainStrasse Village Parking lot. - Free Parking is available under the Clay Wade Bailey Bridge or in Theatre House’s Parking Lot.
