Every Monday is Kids Day at MoBo bicycle coop in Northside! Kids can come learn to fix their bikes and enjoy bike-related programming all year long. Each participant will receive a free used bike and learn how to fix and maintain it! This event is geared towards people aged 5-16.

Beginning at Deeper Roots Coffee’s Roasterie, we wind through downtown Cincinnati before heading out of town. The route may vary, but the ride is typically no more than 20 miles and +600 feet of elevation gain.

Calling all cyclists and Cincinnati history enthusiasts! Celebrate Homecoming Week with the Crosstown Missions bike tour, as seen in Bicycling Through Paradise Historical Tours Around Cincinnati published by the University of Cincinnati Press.Authors Kathleen Smythe and Chris Hanlin's book was released this summer and are pleased to offer this one-of-a-kind event for our Bearcat family.

The event will begin with an author lecture from Smythe and Hanlin showcasing the StoryMaps element of Bicycling Through Paradise Historical Tours Around Cincinnati. From there, the authors and Joe Humpert of Queen City Bike will lead the bicycling route "Crosstown Missions" featured in the book.

Put on your layers and meet us at Sawyer Point for a gentle Bright Ride bike ride through Cincinnati's urban core. We'll ride on streets, a bike trail, a protected bike lane, and an unprotected bike lane so you can see for yourself how each of these experiences affects cyclists. We will end at Queen City Radio for drinks and networking.

Straight Street Hill Climb

After an official year off, the Straight Street Hill Climb is scheduled to return to its rightful spot on the calendar.....The Sunday before Thanksgiving!

UPDATE FOR 2021: All registration will be online this year. This includes race day.

We are still finalizing the details for 2021 but you can expect the events to be the same as in past years.

Q: So, What is the Straight Street Hill Climb?

A: A .36 mile assault on one of Cincinnati's steepest inclines. The Straight Street Hill Climb is two minutes of self-inflicted torture.

Free safety checks and commuter consultations provided by QCB and her friends.  Get your bike rolling safely and learn about more opportunities to ride!

Join us on Nov. 21, 2021 for a rolling celebration of the incredible public art in our city!

We will visit more than 20 ArtWorks murals in this roughly 20 mile ride, along with a handful of other iconic neighborhood installations. Be ready to take photos!

Meetup time is 2:00 PM at Community Happens Here in Pleasant Ridge. Start time will be 2:15 PM at the latest, after introductions and brief riding tips. Please note we are starting earlier than usual due to diminished daylight this time of year.

Overall this route will be a good match for Advanced Beginner to Intermediate level riders. There are some short stretches on busier roads (Montgomery, Madison, and McMillan). Basic traffic skills are required.

The route is mostly rolling, and we will regroup after all climbs and at turns/intersections. The hardest climb will be the return journey up Lester Ave. Along the way, there will be lots of stops to take in all the amazing art!

In other great news, Queen City Bike has generously offered to host the routes for Ride Pleasant Streets on their new Tourism Account with Ride with GPS!
